The dice roll that represents an attempt to hit a target. A Lantern 10 will always result in a hit.
When survivors perform an attack roll they activate a weapon in their gear grid. They then roll a number of ten-sided die equal to the speed of that weapon. The values rolled must meet or exceed the weapon's accuracy value to be considered a hit. Changes to a survivor's accuracy attribute or the monster's evasion attribute will alter this value.
When a monster performs an attack roll, the monster controller rolls a number of d10 equal to the speed of the attack listed on the attack's attack profile. The values rolled must meet or exceed the attack's accuracy value to be considered hits. Changes to a monster's accuracy attribute, or the target survivor's evasion attribute will alter this value.
If a monster is knocked down all attack rolls succeed on a 3+ regardless of the monster or survivor's negative or positive accuracy and evasion attributes.[1]
