Bleeding Heart is a story event in the Manhunter Expansion rule book.

Event Text[]

This story event may only happen once per campaign. The player with the biggest sweet tooth nominates a survivor to Inspect the Heart.

Inspect the Heart[]

The survivor clutches a strange metal heart. Its cold face emits a regular vibration, twitching each time its corded veins secrete a sparkling, crimson liquid.

They sense a heaviness about this object beyond mere weight. Something about it is indescribably old and sad.

Fascinated, they cannot help themselves as they begin to obsessively remove its plating. As they slide apart its shell, they gasp.

A human heart, just like theirs, beats weakly within. Its swollen arteries are connected to metal spouts on the device's interior walls.

The horrific contraption ignites the survivor's imagination, smashing the seal on their darkest thoughts. They have a Confectioner's Crisis and gain the Crimson Candy innovation.
