Welcome to Nightmare Cooking! In these challenging times, many of us have been emboldened to hone our culinary skills. Your settlement's survivors are no different! Just like you, your survivors crave a challenge, and hunger for variety.
Therefore, we're introducing a series of new dishes to taste in your homes and in your campaigns. Our dish today remains a mystery for now, but it's rumored that the recipe comes from the Dark Chef himself. Should your settlement manage to acquire these myriad ingredients, they might just find some very tangible benefits to their feast...

For those brave settlements who diligently gathered these nightmarish ingredients, the time for feasting has begun! Nominate four survivors to consume the bounty once per campaign:

- +1 Permanent movement from the gamey meat and tendons of the haremite.
- -3 Hunt XP as the savory pustule broth speckled with whiskers has an age eating quality typically seen from exposure to glorious poultry.
- +10 Survival as the hearty acanthus infused haremite stock fills the survivors’ bodies with warmth.

While the Kingdom Death team released this cooking "expansion" as a fun add-on for the game, it was offered as a way for players to potentially receive a King's Coin by completing the in-game recipe as well as the real-life recipe for "Nightmare Paella Valenciana".[3]
