Lore[]
The aptly named Plain of Faces is named after the fact that the very ground of this area is made up of stone faces. The Plain of Faces is the domain of The Scribe, and his words seem to have an effect on the reality of this area. There is likely a tie between The Scribe's works, and the survivors who awaken on the plains, rubbing ink from their eyes. The Plain of Faces sees an indeterminate amount of human settlements arise, scratching and scraping for survival. The King's Men and The Hand occasionally pay visits to these settlements as brutal harbingers of The King's approach.[1]
Gameplay[]
The Plain of Faces is the setting for most of the campaigns in the Kingdom Death: Monster boardgame.
